“What if?” is in Robbin’s blood.  A daughter of a radio and cable tv entrepreneur, she leads Sound Products with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm that’s contagious.  Her top two priorities are her customers and her employees and how to continually improve the journey for both.  Her quest is to serve as your trusted business partner and technology advisor. Her vision is to develop, design, integrate and support technology in a “high touch” Midwestern sort of way.  She is a “doer” and a “get things done” kind of gal. Her door (and her mind) are always open. Robbin loves to travel, especially with her daughter, having visited 28 countries to date.  Returning to Kansas City, she is always reminded “There’s no place like home.”

The challenge in our business is that A/V and security technology are always evolving.  Fortunately, Mark is the guy who is always monitoring what’s developing on the horizon.  He is happiest when he is figuring out the best solution to solve communication, collaboration or safety issues for our customers.  Mark does not fear failure, but rather fears not trying.  He leads our efforts in evaluating new products and services and whether they add value. He is a big time KU fan and can be found rooting on the “Hawks” at basketball and football games.  And if you’re ever in Topeka over the 4th of July, Mark and his wife have won the best “float” prize in their neighborhood parade for the past 20 years.

Bob is our technology “guru”.  He’s got one of those brains that understands complex A/V and security technical systems with ease.  He repeatedly designs intricate customized solutions that amaze customers and us. Conference rooms, meeting rooms, huddle rooms, training rooms, he’s your guy. He is focused, disciplined and dedicated to doing the best work possible. This may come from his service in the Navy, having spent three months underwater in a submarine.   No matter the complexity, we know Bob will figure it out.

Monty, who offices in Topeka and is a big-time KSU fan, has seen it all when it comes to audio, video and security systems.  He knows how to design a solution that is thorough, thoughtful and cost appropriate whether it’s a school stadium, church sanctuary or hospital.  He doesn’t stop until it’s just right.  Most importantly, Monty cares.  He cares that we take the best possible care of our customers, both before and after the sale.   Because of the never-ending advances in A/V and Security Technologies, Monty seeks to be an extension of his clients’ planning and design teams, bringing his continuing education and experience to both short and long-term planning. In the summer, you may see Monty boating or fishing.  He reminds us to
“Always be Yourself…Unless you can be Captain Kirk.  Then be Kirk.

Chris is everything that is good about the millennial generation. He’s curious, bright and a remarkable problem solver. He grew up in the Information Age and excels in all things digital. His degree is in computer programming so he can program most anything you put in front of him including Crestron and Biamp. His greatest satisfaction, though, comes from designing technology solutions to meet specific customer needs. Elon Musk, watch out!

Super hero. Lifesaver. Friend. These are just a few of the names our customers have given John and our service team.  Here from Day 1, John and our team of technical experts know every wire, switch, cable, megahertz and interface intimately, so they can help you immediately.  With a smile on his face and a story to share, John takes service to a whole new level. His guiding principle is that his work is not done until the customer is happy.  Kansas City sports (Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC) are his favorites, along with barbeque.

Brad runs the “behind the scenes” here at Sound Products.  From inventory purchasing, installation staging and scheduling, field service management, software platforms and more, Brad ensures our ship is operating on all cylinders and moving full steam ahead.  Brad ensures projects are installed on time and on budget. Customer satisfaction is in the forefront of his mind and drives all his decisions.  Brad is a Nebraska football fan and knows pretty much all there is to know about baseball.  And for some unknown reason, he loves “cheeseburger” pizza.  It must be the dill pickles!

Michelle manages our finances (and human resources) here at Sound Products.  From monthly payables and receivables to month end financials, Michelle makes sure we keep our company in solid fiscal order. Michelle has a big heart, not only for helping our employees, but for giving back in the community.

Connie has a heart of gold.  She is the absolutely perfect person to be our frontline customer service contact.  No problem, big or small.  Connie handles it all.  Most importantly, she can answer any question you might have.  She’s “music to our ears and yours” as she will make sure any problem you have gets solved, especially as it relates to music, messaging, digital signage, alarm intrusion, and drive-thru intercom installations.  She knows all the in’s and out’s of all our music receivers and options.  Respect, integrity and love guide her in her work.  We are lucky she is here.

Ryan is the guy you want solving your technology challenges.  You can put anything in front of this guy and he will figure it out.  From integrating multiple technologies in audio/visual systems to complex security surveillance projects, Ryan stands as “Best among the Best”.  His philosophy is to do it right the first time.  He loves music and is a drummer in the band Morrison County.  He’s a terrific dad.  You’ll remember him by his winning smile.

Ted always has a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.  And man, can he work efficiently! There is not project too big or small for this guy. Ted has the ability to manage all projects with ease.  He gets his greatest satisfaction from the customer being happy.  Bottomline, he likes to help people.  Even better, he knows all the in’s and out’s of sight, sound and security.  You’ve got a question.  He’s on it and will find the answer.  He loves to solve problems.  With more than 20 years experience, Ted has seen it all (or most of it anyway!).  A devoted dad, a youth sports coach, snowboarder, and boating enthusiast, Ted lives life to the fullest.

Mark is the technician you want on your side.  He’s practical, grounded and will not stop until the job is done right.  With over 25 years of experience, he is the “Godfather” at Sound Products and just knows how it works.  We constantly look to him for advice.  You can put anything in front of this guy and he will figure it out.  Including ensuring your system operates perfectly. As technologies continue to evolve, he assists us with the challenge of getting devices to communicate.  Mark is an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He is a quiet “behind the scenes” fixture in his community of Overbrook, KS, assisting with A/V at the church, city and local school district. He strives to help others less fortunate and those that can’t help themselves.

Look deep into his eyes. There is a hunger there.  Nothing is impossible. This guy loves to learn and problem solve.  Josh has found the right field for his natural talents and abilities. From access control, to security surveillance to meeting room control systems, Josh has a love of all things technology. He brings energy and enthusiasm to his work each and every day.  It may be from all the fresh air he gets hunting and fishing!  Josh operates by the philosophy of getting the job done right the first time…efficiently and effectively.  And Josh is a new dad of a baby boy!

Josh (or Joe-Sue as our techs like to tease) is the guy who quietly gets things done.  He’s like a sponge, hungry to learn all there is to know.  From audio/visual to security surveillance, he will manage your installation from start to finish.  His easy going manner and gentle smile make him a guy you want on your team.  He can even play a mean game of volleyball.

When you meet Joe, you might think he is a rancher.  Well, he does have a bit of “cowboy” in him.  He also has that grounded, get things done kind of attitude.  He will be there to help you with audio/visual and security installations and will have your back if ever service is needed.  He takes pride in getting work done right the first time.  And let me let you in on a secret.  Not only is Joe a Harley Davidson enthusiast, he won our company’s bowling competition!

Jenny is our customer service coordinator. AKA.  Super multi-tasker.  She will make sure any customer service issue you have gets resolved.  From billing questions to headset repair, she’s your gal.  She has an uncanny ability to understand your issues and to put herself in your shoes.  You will like how she tackles any service issue you might have.  She is the mom of two young children.  That makes her a hero all on her own. And it’s a little known fact that she’s obsessed with pickles!
