When it comes to utilizing all that an Audio/Visual integrator has to offer, warehouses have several unique considerations.  A warehouse environment requires special attention that a normal business does not necessarily require.  There are areas that need to be thoroughly thought out by an experienced integrator.

CCTV

Not only could CCTV cameras monitor entrances, exits, and common work areas, but a well-designed CCTV system can be used to monitor the productivity on an assembly line, a packing area or in a staging area.  Employee productivity and safety can be well monitored with a CCTV system that allows remote access as well.

Intercom Systems

Communication in a large warehouse can be a challenge.  Installing a public announcement and intercom system can help eliminate any communication issues.  For safety reasons, communicating with employees in a moment’s notice can be very important.

Digital Signage

Large digital signage screens are ideal in a warehouse.  Digital signage screens can be constantly changed and adapted to help deliver messages that are important to the business at any given time in addition, digital signage is the ideal way to relay messages about your business and employees.

Access Control

Not all areas in a warehouse should be accessible to all employees.  With an access control system, not only could an administrator control who can enter the building, but they could also control what parts of the building certain employees can enter.  Limiting the accessibility to an IT or server room will help keep your assets and employees safe.

Huddle Rooms

Small meeting rooms are ideal for quick team meetings with employees.  Many huddle rooms are outfitted with a large touch screen and space for a team to work together.  These rooms are easily added to an existing space and can be used as a breakout space during larger meetings.
