Important Tips to Help Keep Your Drive-Thru Crew Healthy & Safe

With drive-thru restaurants being one of the few dining options still open, we want to make sure we share as much useful information as possible to contribute to your success and overall wellbeing. These are unprecedented times and we are learning right alongside you as we get through COVID-19 together.

In the meantime, as your drive-thru receives increased traffic, the following tips can help keep your drive-thru crew healthy and safe:

Set automatic reminders. Both the EOS | HD headset system and ION headset system can automatically remind your crew to wash their hands, clean their workstation, refill the sanitizer solution, and more. If you haven't already, set a schedule for automatic reminders to play directly into all headsets and/or your restaurant's ceiling speaker. Your crew is busy fulfilling orders, help them out with automated messages. Need help setting up reminders? Download PDF instructions for EOS | HD.

Sanitize your headset. Now, more than ever, it is imperative to keep a sanitary restaurant environment for the wellbeing of your customers and crew. Follow our best practices to properly clean and sanitize HME equipment.

Replace ear foams. We normally recommend that you replace ear foams roughly every three months. With today's challenging circumstances, consider replacing ear foams more frequently. You can also use earpad covers, which are meant to be replaced daily to offer a higher degree of cleanliness.

You are a valued member of the HME family and today, as always, we are at your service. If there is anything we can do to partner with you in these challenging times, please feel free to contact us at 866-848-8534.

Wishing you good health, safety, and business success,
